2014 IASWG SYMPOSIUM RECAP
The 2014 IASWG Symposium held June 5-8th in Calgary, Alberta was a huge success! Thank you to all of the Illinois Chapter members who represented us during a weekend filled with professional networking, skill-building, information sharing, and, of course, dancing! The Illinois Chapter had more than 30 members in attendance, many of them presenting papers, posters, and workshops.
At the Symposium, our very own Ann Bergart was recognized as the esteemed 2014 International Honoree. Ann offered beautiful remarks, which are posted in our "Spotlight" section soon. Brandon Haydon and Natalie Hock were awarded the IASWG Emerging Leader awards. Their profiles are also available in the "Spotlight" section now. Congrats to our Illinois Chapter members! We are very proud!
